How many pencils do you have in your house? Probably more than you care to count. Pencils - mass produced and cheap to buy - are writing implements that we increasingly take for granted. Gone are the days of sharpening your pencil to the point where you can no longer hold it.
It turns out that making pencils is an intense process. So intense in fact, that you may just reach for the closest pencil and spend a moment or two appreciating it!
